I recently saw a short video on one of my quilting sites that showcased quilts made with Andover panels. One was a move themed one that would make an absolutely perfect Christmas gift for my hubby. He loves to have movie night complete with popcorn and a warm, snuggly cover in the winter. Alas, although I found a place that had a kit, after placing my order, I found out when I contacted them about timeline for delivery that they were sold out. I emailed Andover and they said it is an old line and no longer made. I can find most of the fabrics needed over various websites, but Can't find the red background ones. Anyone out there have any, or know a LQS that I could purchase some and have mailed?

Here is a link to the pattern. The materials I am having trouble locating are the ones with the red background, with the exception of the panel.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

While looking for the fabric I found a kit at http://www.bitspieces.ca/m_10.asp the cost is 169.00 CAD which is like 155 USD.

Here is one in the US for 75 bucks, http://www.wenz-dazequiltingfabric.com/Kits.html

Here is another one http://www.hollyhillquilts.com/cgi-b...=rtreeview.htm for 146.95

I don't know if you tried ordering from one of these three shops but if you want it its worth a shot!

p.s. I also found a butload of stuff that I think I NEED! I might just have to start getting the mail instead of my husband so he doesn't know that I broke the "deal" with myself!...lol

forgot to add, for the first two you have to scroll down a ways to see them!

Thank you sooooo much, I thought I had tried everyplace, but don't think I did these. I will give them a try.

Update: After checking the first ones, and shooting off emails to them (because I couldn't seem to order them by clicking on them) I tried the last one and was able to order it successfully. Now I hope that the order is successfully filled. The last place accepted my order but then when I called to see when it would be mailed they told me it wasn't available. :(

    Thanks again.

I made a quilt from this material for a friends nephew. Was just interested in what pattern you would use for this? I have a picture of the one we did. This fabric is beautiful for sure.

Here's a link to a shop that has a red background one in that line:

Thanks everyone. If the latest order falls through, you have given me so many options! Awesome!

Here is the link to the pattern I am planning to use.

So are you going to be able to get the kit you ordered or did they allow you to order an "out of stock" item again?

I hate that when you get your hopes all up and think you will be getting what you have been looking ALL OVER for and then you get an email. I mean really how hard is it to remove from your site!
I looked ALL OVER for a fabric by Michael Miller called "Surfs up" it had baby sea turtles all over it and I NEEDED IT SOOOO BADLY (at least I thought I did) anyways I put in about four or five orders all to be told that it was out of stock and they would not be getting any more (the fabric was out of print). A few places even took the money out of my account and had to refund it (when they got around to it I might add) I finally found it in an online store called Quilters Roundup in Oregon. I ended up buying 2 yards instead of the half yard I actually needed "just in case"!!

Justwanna - Thanks for asking. As a matter of fact I just got confirmation that it is in stock and will ship tomorrow. I am soooo excited!

Gail Kessler from Ladyfingers, sent this: "You may get lucky and find some in a shop somewhere by posting a fabric search on these two websites: www.fabrics.net and www.missingfabrics.com.
Their services are free, and many shops check them regularly to see if they can help out fellow quilters." Below are the links to click on just in case you need them.

Thanks you all your help everyone.
