If you scroll down on this link you'll find a quilt pattern for an angel block that can be made with any size HST's and an appliqued circle. Cute but simple. http://wildrosepastures.blogspot.com...1_archive.html

this is the pattern I used for my grandson's angel quilt. I cut each angel from a different white on white, then dedicated the angels to people in his family. Tiny exception, my head fits down into the "V" of the angel wings.
I used a black/blue/white print background. Made a big pillow to match.

I made one a few years ago call "Angel in the Cabin". It was a freebie from a magazine but I can't remember which mag.
I will continue to look and see if I still have the pattern....if so, I will post you.but meanwhile, you might google it if it sounds like something that might interest you.

That one is really cute Lea! And it looks easy enough that even I could do it! LOL! I bet that would really pop using bright batiks with a black background! That's so cool!! Thanks! :c)

There are some new patterns out that are that are aplique. I just saw them at my LQS. I don't know the name but will be there this week end and will look at the and let you know. My sister also collects angels and I am thinking of getting one to make for her.
