I got this book shortly before Christmas and have been itching to try out one of these quick methods for piecing. If you are considering a book purchase I would encourage you to buy Anita's book - Rotary Cutting Revolution. I did these blocks yesterday afternoon and I have to tell you they go together like a dream! I can't wait to do a whole quilt with this pattern!

Very cool. I love the fabric. They look like cjomomma's diagonal cut on the disappearing 4 patch.

I believe the pattern "Arrowhead Block" is the same. The piecing method is definitely different. With this method you sew two seams and make three cuts and you have all your units ready to resew. There is no wasted fabric and matching your seams is a breeze!!

The authors name is Anita Grossman Solomon and she is a member of our lovely board here. It's a great book with lots of quick piecing techniques!

I bought her book last year, it's the best quilt book I bought in several years. She has a very good blog too.
