I have been sort of looking for a Singer Featherweight. Looking at all of the beautiful pictures on the board of those great little machines. Went on ebay to look around but just couldn't quite convince myself that I needed another sewing machine. I have my MIL's old red eye singer, a brother CSy6000i, a Janome Mini for my GD to learn on, a Universal that I made all of my clothes and those of my boys on way back when and I just found a beautiful Singer 201 which will be great for the lapthrow quilting that I do for local nursing homes because of the large harp area, so did I really need another sewing machine, NOT!!! But there it was and I just couldn't resist. The lady wanted $200 but she finally settled for $150 when I explained to her that it would need to be serviced and maybe even a few parts replaced. So here she is before I have her serviced and cleaned.
