Antique Puzzle Looking Quilt

Yes, she wanted Vortex, for which a pattern and an instructional DVD was made by Andi Perejda - but ohmigosh, this one is GORGEOUS!
The applique is complex and the piecing would make such good use of CW scraps - I just love everything about this one.
But QN doesn't ever print a "pattern" for their cover quilts, do they? Or do I have them confused with a different magazine?

Here's the thread about the Red & White Vortex quilt:

And you're right that QNM doesn't print patterns of the it's cover quilts as they are usually master award winning quilts.
This quilt is gorgeous, and I think a bit more difficult than the vortex one. It's only got 32 curved sections, which could be easily paper pieced, but the color placement makes the quilt.
Can't really mess that up on the vortex quilt. ;-)
