I'm getting excited! You have all been really helpful. The 350 E at my local shop is 999.99
    I appreciate all the input.

Sue, I forgot to mention. They are VERY user friendly. They gave me a 3 hour class and most of the class was used up on the different kinds of stabilizers to use. The actual machine lesson was very short and easy.

I just put a brother 770 on layaway at my local sew and vac. The price was $669 (the same price it can be had for at Amazon). My sew and vac sells the Janome as well, and recommended the Brother. Same hoop size, has usb port as well, but they said the brother is just as good, even easier to operate, and signficantly less money.

I have a Bernina 630 with embroidery module it can use USB stick which I absolutely love I do not have to hook to a computer .I worry about getting a virus on my machine if I have to hook to computer and USB stick will save changes I make to design so not using machine memory space.Just a thought.

I have a Babylock Ellageo ESG3 which came with four hoops and then I bought another huge hooping system with the electronics in it that is big enough to do jacket backs. If you want to do embroidery commercially Babylock has a small commercial embroidery machine and it does great work. My daughter has one and really has done some amazing things with it.

I forgot to say the Ellagio ESG3 is both an embroidery and sewing machine.

I have a good Bernina but it doesn't have the embroidery capabilities :( I love mine so I really don't want another one.
    Thanks!:D
