I like the idea of using the large one for a pillow. The back of a quilt is not seen very often.

Creative clutter is better than idle neatness.
My daughter has requested that I make her quilted placemats for Christmas.
She wants each mat to have different blocks, colors, etc.
If you didn't really want a quilt, maybe you could use your blocks for something like this.
