You can print your own fabric if you have pictures and get the special fabric that goes through your printer. Or use Bubble Jet Set which is cheaper but just a little bit more involved. I am sorry, I can't think of the name of the fabric right now that you get in 8x10 pieces that is already treated and backed with a freezer-paper like stuff that will go through your printer.

Wait, so is a Gila like a Gekko? Because I've got Gekko fabric.
So before I got dig it out, can someone please clarify? I've exceeded my Google searches for the day. ;-)
They're similar, but different. And different enough that gekko couldn't work. As a general southwestern quilt, it would be fine, but because the family joke is gila monster since we have some that show up at the house, it has to be gila monster. Kinda like when I was doing a quilt for my mom who loves Lays Original potato chips and the only fabric had ones with ruffles... doesn't work :(

Funny, now that I've read this topic thread, I have advertising Gila Monster Everything to do with Gila Monster items. Yahoo.com at the bottom of my page.

So back to fusing.

If you had the background be the lighter brownish color, you could cut up the black (with fusible attached) to be the swiss cheese-y scaley-like pattern in your picture.

And done. ;-)

Whatever you decide, please post a picture when you're done.
