Yesterday I was shopping with my mom and she took me to the Singer outlet store in Dallas......oh my word I love this place!!! Quilting cotton starting a 2.99 yd average price was 4.99yd with batiks at 6.99yd and broadcloth at 2.50. It's not great if you're looking for something specific but if you're trying to grow your stash it's wonderful. They also have any other kind of fabric you could imagine. It's on Harry Hines and open to the public with no minimum cuts. I bought all 1/2yds. Just wanted to share. Hoping to help some of y'all out. Now, go, shop!!

Golden Dior is also on Harry Hines and open to the public. Sounds very much like the store you found.

Thanks. When I visit my two daughters in Texas I'll remember this. One lives in Killeen and one near Dallas/Ft.Worth. That Airport there is really something!!! I love to tour it, didn't mind not having a connecting flight for an hour or so, found too much to do in that place.
