Wow lucky there was nobody hurt either. Have they found what was the cause of this explosion?

Do you have any idea why this happened?

Yikes! Another good reason to stay away from the washing machine! LOL So thankful that nobody was hurt. What brand was it?

Praise God no one was hurt and your home didn't catch fire! What brand and model is it? Save others from the danger and hassle.

Please share with us the make and model of this machine. I was just looking through some old papers and discovered that I'd bought mine in 2008, and when the men put it in they discovered that the LAST installation had been done wrong and water had been seeping inside my wall for years!! I had noticed leakage on the cement walk way that came up to the house, but never could figure out where it came from. Plus, I usually wash at night so never noticed it most of the time.

Where did you get this machine and brand?

Sounds like something consumer affairs should see also. Boy, that's scarey. I'm glad your car wasn't out there too. WOW!

You weren't washing kex rags with gasoline on them were you? I've heard that will do it... anything with gas on it can make that happen.

I read somewhere that the spier on the drum could have failed and caused this. (What ever that is). I would certainly want a thorough explanation from the manufacturer....
