    Anyone get the Quilty Box?

It's a surprise box sent once a month by subscription. I have read good reviews but they are from well known quilters that get it free to advertise it. The contents seem to be valued at full retail price too.

I agree with EasyPeezy. I have a big enough stash that I am just buying the fabric that I need to complete a project.

It might be a good idea for someone just starting out who doesn't have a stash and needs a little help deciding what to make. But for me, I have to be able to choose my products, or I won't probably use them.

Looks really neat, and no doubt would be fun. It said 10 dollars off first box, then also can be 1, 3, 6, or 12 months I think. Anyway, naturally thought about just doing 1, but I've had to get downright ugly to cancel a subscription before, not going there again!

I love the surprises I've seen posted on the net. But, I can't make a monthly commitment to each box. Sometimes, I wish I could. But, I probably don't want or need everything that would come in the box. So, it makes it easier to pass on this kind of box. It's probably the idea of receiving a surprise that I like the most.

I signed up and have received my first box. I like it just fine. I received a 2 1/2" strip bundle, Ellen's Best press spray starch, a Basix acrylic template that will make really cool blocks and a pattern. Each month has 4 items in it.

Personally, I like getting a surprise package every month. It's fun. If I get something I'm not thrilled with, I'll re-gift it. No problem. I've only gotten one box so far. Will see how it goes - - -

I joined for the 6 months. Like jclinganrey says, I can regift a lot of it. Sure will save time when Christmas comes and I need gifts for my quilting friends.

it is better than $500.00 a year at their lowest longest subscription rate.

I have a box full of stuff just like they send that I've bought over the years. Didn't need it so don't use it stuff.

When I don't see the cost up front I get suspicious. I love getting surprises in the mail, but I would rather order a Jenny Doan daily deal and know I am getting a true bargain. $10 off the first month tells me that $30 or $40 a month is way too expensive for me to get just 4 items. I'll pass.
