Today was my day to volunteer in a local thrift shop - and found a new ironing cover for my cutting table for $2.50 with the original price of $29.95 still on it and a 28 inch oval hoop for hand quilting for $1.75. We can't make purchases until the last 15 minutes we are open and they were still there.

I volunteer at our local thrift shop too. And since school is getting ready to start (Aug 29) and there are so many people that have kids that can't afford to buy school clothes and supplies they are able to come to the thrift shop and get free clothing and I think its wonderful that they can. And its not just for school anytime of the year if someone needs clothing they can come get some. :)
