Shake a few times before throwing in dryer to loosen the hair. I have the same problem w/ pet hair
Yes, this works really well, also with cat hair, which I have the most problem with. It comes right off.

Another suggestion for the sticky tape: I read a long time ago that it's helpful if you get lily pollen on something. And it does the job, at least mostly! (File this away for Easter...)

By extension: it also works well if you have a dusty/dirty smudge on a piece of fabric. Using the tape doesn't rub the dirt into the fibers of the fabric. I've rescued quite a few fabrics this way!

Dryer...dryer sheet...then I whisk it immediately out of the dryer into a garbage sack (never letting it touch anything) and then out for delivery

I guess I will have a look around the dollar stores and Wal-mart for
Sticky tape
Contact paper
Bounce pet hair sheets
Pledge sweeper thingy
Sticky rollers
Rubber gloves...

and try and keep Finn off the chair I sit in while doing the bindings. (they don't like the sewing room)

Thanks folks!

Throwing it in the dryer with a bounce sheet will get most off. You can just put it int here on warm, and let it run and it will remove the hair

 Y'all just don't know, try to top this..............

I have my Irish Setter/Lab mix that is the quality control manager, she is pretty cool about just wanting to sniff each block as I am working on it. Daddy has to show her everything I am working on or she gets her feelings hurt (big baby  ).

Then you throw in 2 Pomeranians that like to tussle on the quilts as your trying to pin them on the floor. :(

And to top everything else I have a Chihuahua that slides in and lays on it and looks at you like "Gee thanks for the new blankie dad". :x

They are my babies but man they really need to cut me some slack!

I use a rubber glove like you use in the kitchen. Just put it on and scrape the glove along the quilt holding the quilt as taut as possible. I have to do it on my bed all the time as dc loves to lie up by my head.

I just take some Scotch Tape and wrap it around my hand with the sticky side out. Works pretty well.

Those of you that use tape, you should really try contact paper, it is wonderful and you can usually go over a large area just one time, maybe twice if it is a dark color.
