Default Anyone have A Janome 160P DBX

I have found Janome 160P DBX for $250. Do you love your machine and why? Trying to decide if I want this or not. It is straight stitch only. Do you like the way it quilts?

I have a 1600P--older model and love it. The thread cutter seems like an unnecessary addom, but it sure it great when you get used to it. Quite a few people put it on a frame, but mine is on a table. It quilts very nicely, and the speed is hard to beat. Does the machine you are looking at include any of the accessories?

I also have the 1600 P on a Handiquilter frame and love it. I keep thinking I'll use it for piecing but haven't yet.

I have a 1600p & I love it. It's not on a frame, is a single stitch & a real workhorse. $250 sounds like a decent price depending on the condition.

Here is the picture with the accessories. I'm not sure what the 3 feet/attachments are on the left.

Thanks everyone. I am still undecided. Going to look at the machine and try it out on Tuesday. I hope it will work really good for me.

I have a 1600P and I love mine too. It is my favorite machine to use for piecing and I also use it on my Handiquilter frame. It is a great machine!

I have the Viking MegaQuilter. It is the exact same machine as the Janome 1600P, Janome makes it and also made the Pfaff GrandQuilter. They just put different facades on them. I've had mine about 5 years, never had a problem. I don't have a frame but it's been great for basic mq and heavy duty sewing.
