Default Anyone know how to make this basket weave pattern?

I have plenty of batiks that would work well together in this pattern, but I really don't want to do it in all squares. This one looks like it was done with strips. Racking my brain trying to figure out how to do it in strips.

Oh I made that quilt It was a challenge and my strips didn't line up well. I love the looks of it and I used up some of my strips but never again.
Good luck to you. You might have an easier time than I.

I think it's the free lattice pattern. I figured it would need to use partial seams somehow, but couldn't figure out exactly how. Thank you so much!!!

I also made the free pattern but in a baby size. I decided to do just one fabric for each 'strip' and it turned out very cute. The final product actually looked woven. It took a bit of concentration but wasn't that difficult.

Love the look of basket weave but hate partial seams. If I was making that quilt I would
fake it. And with batik it would be even easier because it would all kind of blend in.
