This sewing machine was an anonymous donation to our quilting group, and there is no identifying name on it at all to denote which company made it. Even the manual does not say the brand. Anyone know?

When I Googled, the only brands that came up with manuals for those numbers were New Home and Janome. (I think Janome bought out New Home?) It could be a vintage New Home.

Contact a sewing place with the book information, someone should be able to tell you for sure, locally. Call and ask for an email and send a pic like here to them as well.

I believe it is a New Home.

I think I see French and English on the machine. Would it have been meant for Canadian or Western Europe?

Can you find a serial number? It could be checked against manufacturer's lists, I think..

My first impression was that it is a New Home. Then I read Prism99's post and see that great minds think alike! LOL! It is a beauty and I would love to have it!

I did the same thing, but the machines they showed online had "New Home" written right on them.

Also, the manual is in English and French, which makes me think it's Canadian. But would a precursor of Janome be a Canadian made product?
