That's only $4.50 per pattern...not expensive at all for an appliqué pattern.

I agree, crafterrn1. I am very selective about the patterns/books I purchase, so when I do make a purchase, especially for a BOM that I am excited about, the cost seems less of a factor. If this was an active pattern, paying monthly would be much easier on the budget, but I have saved my pennies (ha) and this is a bit of a splurge for me. Found a great deal on the set of 12 patterns plus fabric, so I am a happy camper! Thanks to all for your input. This forum is just the best! :-)

That is a beautiful quilt, but to make it you have to buy all three pattern sets, and they total $93. Too much for me.

It is a lovely quilt I love the Christmas / Santa theme. I see BOMs that I like and buy them for future projects one day when I retire (at least that is my reasoning )

it's in her blog, email her and have her ask her friend the name and where she bought the pattern

I find that most of the block of the months are to expensive for me to. So I look for free blocks of the months on the web and I can always find something I like.

That is a beautiful santa sampler. But it looks like to much work for me at the moment. I did save the picture and link. Thanks for sharing.

I KNEW as soon as I saw the price when I looked up the pattern that there would be complaining about the cost! The applique patterns are striking and intricate and the quilt setting is stunning - the designer deserves a good return for her work.

Very pretty, I don't have any desire or patience for something like that.
