I don't think the price is high for what all you get. If I wanted that pattern, I would pay that price and be happy. Totally happy. I do BOMs all the time, so I understand the high price of them. I usually do BOMs by the month. And at the end, it ends up costing over $300 for the quilt top. But it is always a gorgeous, gorgeous quilt. Something I will keep for myself to be handed down in the family. An heirloom if you would say so.

I don't think anyone is "complaining" about the price. We are just saying it's more than we are willing to pay. Just a statement.

When your DH retires teach him to LA quilt and make money doing small jobs and that way he is out of your hair so you can quilt. My DH retired 3 times(sort of speaking); in his 70's and he going to do LA next year to keep him out of my hair unless he wants to work on something else. He like the mechanical aspeck of longarm quilting and wants to design his own. This is going to be interesting!
