I'm working on a crib quilt and usually just put a plain border on them. My thinking was this would not take away from the embroidery/piecing. So I was thinking of a pieced border for this particular quilt. Years ago Kaye Woods made the Seminole Patchwork popular. And thought maybe this would be a great border for my crib quilt. Does anyone use this method of piecing anymore? Or has it been forgotten? Curious if anyone has included the Seminole patchwork in a quilt lately?

I made 3 jackets on sweatshirts for gifts last Christmas and included some Seminole piecing, but I don't tell anyone that's what it is because I'm proud to be a GATOR. lol

I love the way it looks and think you should use it on a crib quilt.

I've never done it but I got the pattern/instructions for it
because I think it is really a pretty border. I think it would look great on the crib quilt.
