Applique with Go Baby
#1
So my go baby should be arriving today and I start my applique BOM Rose of Sharon tomorrow and have the dies for it.
So my questions is if you are going to use the freezer paper method, how would you do it or should I just go with the draw on the back and baste it down then turn under method?
I cannot cut out the freezer paper pieces with the go baby since it has the seam allowance added in.
Any suggestions ideas? I am not new to applique but really want to use my new toy on it.

I would cut the freezer paper pieces out by hand.
What I do is use a Sharpie permanent marker to draw the shape on a piece of freezer paper. Then I stack about 6 pieces of freezer paper on top of each other, with the traced shape (not cut out yet!) on top. I iron around the outside edges; this "glues" the sheets of freezer paper together. Then I use paper scissors to cut around my drawn shape. This way I get 6 pieces for every tracing and cutting.
