This is an activity and party favor for my Quilters' Tea Party.
How would you finish these off? Floss or ? What kind of needle?
Buttonhole or chain stitch? The tea is next Sunday. You are all invited!

I can visualize them with the blanket stitch around them and a small scrap of lace on the bottom for the 'table'.The are very nice.

I'm with oldhag (LOL)....I think it screams black blanket stitching and I like the lace idea.

Yes, you get first pick!! I never did this before. Embroidery floss?
I have plenty. I have to check my supply of needles. I survived Lily's birthday & am heading down to City Quilter to get my BC quilt.
I will add the binding myself. See you soon!

Have you used a fusible that is easy to hand sew through? If you're not sure, I would definitely test sew one to make sure it's going to work as planned. Using a thick thread with a fusible might become too difficult. I would experiment with both thread and stitch type before giving them to a group.

I think the bit of lace would set them of too. Don't know about the black thread around them, I think I prefer a colour.
    Anyway, they'll be pretty.
