There are so many wonderful patterns available today, how do we decide which ones to make? Theres only so many hours in a day. We have a stash so whenever we need to make a crib quilt we can get one made up in time for the birth. There are friends that become ill that need a comfort quilt. Once again our stash comes in handy. But how many patterns do you have set a side to make for yourself?
I have 3 patterns on my desk, these are my 'to do' quilts.
The first one I have most of the fabrics, so I can get a start on it whenever time allows.
The second one I have half of the fabrics, no need to start collecting fabrics until I'm almost finished with the first one.
The third pattern is a paper pieced quilt, which will need a lot of different fabrics which will take several years to collect. Hopefully by the time I get to this pattern I will have enough fabrics to make this quilt.
What if I come across another quilt pattern? Add it to the bottom of my 'to do' list? Bump a previous pattern?
    Decisions, Decisions, Decisions. LOL
I'm curious what about other quilters and their 'to do' list.

Too many to count! I have a someday list (ones I'd like to do before I kick the bucket) and a shorter list of ones to do this year. Unfortunately my short list is getting longer with additions from the QB.

There's the 'to do' list and then the bucket list. I want to make a Bargello and a Double Wedding ring in teals.

Top of my To do list are r 3 twin or larger size quilts for my oldest DGD's, 1 bought her own condo and 2 are engaged. Thinking of D9P in black, white and touch of red for DGD's condo and scrappy stars for the engaged ones. Next on list are 2 small quilts for my guild's show in May, still searching for ideas for these two as they have specific themes, one something about Van Gogh and the other The Jersey Shore.

Things have been hectic here lately do to remodel of bathroom and I'm itching to get back to the sewing machine. Think I'll put a scrappy string quilt with black centers for the HeartString project on the tippy top of the list, best way to quickly get sewing and also a way to reduce my stress. May in Jersey

I am making a quilt for my father for his birthday, then I am going to a retreat in November and will do their project. I want to make myself a Christmas quilted jacket, but beyond that there is nothing planned. But I am sure I will find something to occupy my time.
