Default Christmas fabric; Yay or Nay

Had fun at a quilt fabric sale with a good friend and quilter, as I was selecting these fabrics my friend repeatedly said she did not like them, I finally laughed and promised her I would not make her anything.

If you like them, that's what matters.

I agree. I think the product should speak from the heart. So if you like them, that's all that matters.

By the way, I have or have had all of them.

I am hoping that the end result will be pleasing, won't be the first time my minds eye has failed me. Lol!

They are great colors. Add some others from your stach and you will have a smashing quilt.

To me the key is your opening statement, "today I had fun". Obviously your choice of fabrics contributed to that fun-not sure what prompted it, 1) these are a reflection of your "dare to be different approach to fabric selection, 2) "you saw them and desired to make something for Christmas completely different than what you already have, or 3) you saw them and your inner sewer started dancing the "that's what I'm talkin' about!" Jig-whatever the reason they make you happy, and that is what's important! Enjoy!
