I know this subject has been discussed before but I recently bought an Aunt Becky. even after watching the video on Quilt TV several times, I am still having trouble using it. What has been the experience of the users on this board? Any helpful hints for new users?

I'm interested what the outcome is. I saw this a very long time ago on a quilting show, always wanted to get one.

Many quilt shops do not even know what it is.

I would say sandwich two peices of muslin and batting and draw some lines on it and just practice. It will come to you after a while. it does take a good bit of practice though since it is basically backwards to what we are used to.

Well now, I have never heard of Aunt Becky myself. I guess I better do some catching up. Off to googleland!

One year my friends and I all bought Aunt Becky at a quilt show. None of us use it. Now when we see something that we all are ready to buy we say,"Aunt Becky" and walk on.

Funny. I was cleaning out my notion drawer and found two Aunt Beckys. They remind me of the hand clicking toys we had as kids. I use to be pretty good at using the Aunt Becky but it's been years since I tried it.

I think it is like anything else, some find it useful and others do not  :D:D:D
