That my sewing machine doesnt shut off when I go to use my iron. Because if it did I would never get anything done, except running back and forth trying to keep them both on.

I have to run back to the iron before I need it again...auto shut off can be a pain, and great at the same time.

I keep an iron on portable ironing board (that I found at a garage sale years ago) on an end table right beside my sewing table that way it is sooooooooooo easy to just make sure it is on when I need it.....but had to lol at your remark

ditto but I love it when I get sidetrack and forget to turn it off. Been and done that.
