Last Saturday was the baby shower for my DIL. I finished the quilt and accessories the day before. This is going to be a girl, our 8th grandchild after 6 grandsons in a row (our oldest grandchild is a girl and is 13), so the entire family is estatic! My pictures show the quilt, along with the taggie blanket and the stuffed elephant. My son had an elephant when he was a baby and I cut a pattern from it to make this one. My DIL loved it and it goes perfectly with the crib set which I hadn't seen prior to making the quilt, so I guess I did a good job of picking the colors. :-)

They're being secretive about the name, so I couldn't put her name on the back. I hand embroidered my initials and the year instead.

that is so pretty, and I love the elephant. One of my sons had a pink elephant and he rubbed the trunk so much while falling asleep, all the fuzzy came off.
