    I am helping a friend make a baby quilt for her new (soon-to-be) grandchild. Can you give me some cute sayings to embroider on it? I'm having trouble coming up with something adorable. The main theme of the quilt is the alphabet, but I don't have to stick with that theme.

    Are you embroidering in solid blocks?
    How about the first two lines or more of nursery rhymes like -
    Jack Be Nimble
    Row, Row, Row Your Boat
    Pat-a-Cake
    Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star

    or one of these short verses: (if you want the whole verse PM me for rest of words)

    Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep...
    Star Light, Star Bright...
    I See The Moon & the Moon See Me...
    A Baby is a blessing, a gift from above...
