two different set of attachments.I have the quilters choice and it does the work of two. Thinking of getting a Brother embroidery machine to complement Babylock(compatible attachments)

I have the Viking Platinum and love it. I also have a FW. Got rid of my old White mechanical machine as the Viking gives me no problems. I use the FW for classes, travel and a back up when Viking might be in for service. No experience with BL.

I believe the Babylock Quilters Choice is now the Jane, which I just purchased this past spring. It has an 8 3/4" throat, is straight stitch only (you can get different feet for it tho) and is perfect for piecing and fmq as it has 1500 stitches per min. I do use my Babylock Ellegante for piecing and embroidery (also 8 3/4" throat and 1000 stitches per min) and the Jane for FMQ.

I can't help with the Babylock, but, I got a Sapphire 875 this spring to replace my Janome 6600 that died. I do like the Sappphire 875, while it did have some learning curves, it is a very spacious machine and a great workhorse. I'm sure I haven't used it to it's fullest capabilities yet, but it is nice for piecing and runs very quiet.
