We just got back from our cruise. Had a great time. I bought beautiful fabric, kits and patterns. The felt best shops were Rushin Taylors and Changing Threads in Skagway, both owned by the same lady. What great fabrics and kits, I just kept buying and buying and buying. While other people were buying jewelry, I was spending as much in the quilt shops. Silver Thimble in Ketchikan was ok, but I felt not near as friendly as the ladies in the shops in Skagway, although I do have a box of fabric coming from Ketchikan.

Glad to be back on the board again.

    :D

Glad you had a great time. We did an Alaskan Cruise last July. I got to hit 4 or 5 quilt shops too, including one in Seattle. Would like to go again sometime when I am feeling good. I was recovering from shoulder surgery last year.
It's so much fun to go to different stores!!!

Glad you had a nice time and got in some good shopping! I never made it to Alaska when I worked with P&O Cruises, but used to work with people that had worked at Mt McKinley Princess Lodge, and their photos were always stunning. Looking forward to seeing yours!

Glad you're back and had such a good time. Can't wait to see pictures of the trip ~ and of course ~ all your new fabric.

Glad to see you back on board.

Did you see the Whales? On my bucket list, take a cruise and watch the whales!

We saw about a dozen hump back and even a bear at Mendenhall Glacier. I will send pictures of all the stuff I bought, when it gets here, which should be in a few days. I have everything I bought in Skagway with me, but had the fabric from Ketchikan sent. Some of the patterns I believe are above my pay grade, but I could not resist.
