just before i left, i was finishing my DDs king wedding quilt. it was so large, i had to put it on the floor and trim it there. well, crawling on the floor was very bad for my knee. it has gotten worse [without proper care] and have been hobbling around now. i'm now treating it with ice, rest, and ibuprofen. i have a project to make and finish this week, but the standing to cut the fabric has halted it all. i'm hoping i feel up to it tomorrow :)

So sorry to hear about your knee..... glad it's getting better. I just finished a king wedding quilt for my DGD and had to put it on my table in sections..... It was too big to spread out on the floor up here at our cabin. It worked out just fine..... had to resituate it several times but using the 12"x12" square and 6"x27" rulers I was able to get the job done.

Take of yourself and if you don't get the quilt done, take a picture and wrap it up with a love note saying it's on its way. :-)
