Default Bargello fabric choices HELP !!

I feel so foolish but I am up against the wall with time limitation. Been playing with these fabric that I am making a quilt for Christmas for my best friend. She has successfully beaten breast cancer so I wanted to make her a Bargello quilt. I have made over 2 dozen in my lifetime but I am getting stumped with these fabrics. I showed her a batik collections of pinks and browns from Timeless Treasure and she thought that purple would be more attractive. So I ran with that piece of information but have been moving fabric around so much my head is spinning. Any suggestion??? Even copied photo of fabrics into a B/W photo. Using the free Serenity Bargello pattern on Northcott's web site.

The two "red -coral ones " just don't seem to flow together with the pinks and purples. #5 and 6 from the right. Otherwise the colors and tones go good together. The quilt will be beautiful.

I think the colors as you have them are fabulous. Hope you'll share a picture when you are done!

Sorry, the dark pink is actually the color of bright Cranberry. The pinks except for the lightest is from the Timeless Treasure Mocha Kiss collection.

I like the fabrics!! Never made a Bargello yet, but the ones I have liked have great contrast and your fabrics seem to do that.

I'm seeing the geometric with the pink and purple lines (8th from the right) as reading darker than the one to the left of it. I'd move it left one place. Your black and white sort of shows that too. I haven't done a bargello, but I've bought fabric for one and it's on my list. I've read about them and from what I understand the value means more than the color as far as position.

Struggling with the 6th from the right but suspect that when it it finished that spark of saturated color will add to the visual treat these colors will create.
