Press the seams alternate directions so they nest. Depending on your design and pattern, you may have to repress a row of seams the opposite way now and then. But they must nest or the bulk would be awful.

Your choice. Audition your strips both ways and see which way you like better.

what I was talking about was some info I have seen online that the seams are in line but some of them the block is cut in half and off set I hope that makes sense

Bargello Blues ... or Blues Bargello? Who is the author?

Ruth Blanchett has one called Bargello Blues which my avatar is based on (I made some changes to it). If this is the same one, the seams are staggered.

The picture of this quilt on-line looks like it matches seams, but I can't say for sure.

It seems to depend on the pattern. I have seen them both ways

After you sew you strips together into one big tube, you cut the tube into strips and end up with many skinny tubes. You can hang the tubes over something like a yardstick or pin them to your design board. Now you 'rotate' each tube to create your flowing pattern.

This is where you try it with the seams lined up or staggered. When you like it, cut the top of each tube. You will have strips to be sewn together.

Your design decision.

I just looked at the pattern and they are matched at the seams.
