Once you spray your project how long do you have to work with the project before it sets up?

If you mean how long do you have to spread the fabric out on the batting, you've got some time. It is re-positionable too, if you need to readjust it. Just be sure you're using basting spray, not spray adhesive.

Basting spray doesn't set. At least that's my experience, I've only used the 505 brand. You can keep repositioning it as often as you like. It stays tacky for weeks.

I had a UFO that was spray basted for years I just finished it, and could reposition the fabric. Washed up fine also.

love basting spray as you can move it to correct if not laid out correctly.
