When I spray basted, I put down an old king sized sheet on the bed and the quilt to be sandwiched on top. I could throw the sheet in the washer, then use again! But, I don't spray baste anymore since discovering school glue! So much easier and cheaper.

I just wash the floor afterward and it comes right off the floor.

June Tailor spray basting always had a awful smell . I switched to 505 or Dritz no smell. Has the June Tailor gotten better .. smell wise?

I use 505 and put newspapers under the table. If I were to do it on the floor, I'd tape down newspapers and then tape the quilt onto them.

I love June Taylor's spray. I put a clear shower curtain under my quilts when I spray them and then if I over spray I just wet a cloth with some Dawn dish detergent and wipe it down.

So far so good!
