Default Bath Matt idea

I've been wanting to make a bath matt for some time - this morning I was folding towels and one of my towels has a tear in it - so I thought I can finally make a bath matt. I looked on the board and found a quilt along with a bath matt theme - I am wondering if I could make a quilt as you go bath matt - just take some scraps and just start adding here and there until it fills up the space - so here goes - will let you know how it works out and I will post a pic if it works out.

I recycled a couple of old towels into bath mats last week using scraps and some orphan blocks. Here's a picture of one of them

I used the faux chenille blanket method and made mats for my bathroom and in front of the kitchen sink. They are soft, absorbent and very washable. Just throw them in the washer/dryer and they look new.
