I gotta tell someone before I burst!!! I was at a local variety store and found batick fabric for $2.45 a yard !!!! They must have had over 10 different styles. I have never bought any before due to it's price. But rest assured I came home with some today. And their fat quarters were only .79 Think I found a new fav store!!!

Just make sure that you prewash with a color grabber and sort them by color first. Some batiks really can run. I'm glad I wasn't there, I love batiks.

The name of the store is Weaver's. It is outside Terre Hill, close to Fivepointville,Pa. The prices on their other fabric is also good. DH has threatened to take checkbook from me lol.....little does he know I swiped the debit card..hehehehehe

Even if they aren't by the time they're cut up and in a quilt no one will know the difference.
