Default batik combo with regular fabric?

I'm thnking of combining batik fabric with regular fabric for a quilt.
I'm sure someone has done this, but haven't seen any photos.
What do you think?

Not a problem at all - go for it. I'm a pre-washer, so I'd recommend that you do prewash your batiks at least although I've never had issues with any of mine. If the colors work - be happy!

It's all fabric. I combine by color, not labels. I love batiks and try to slip them anywhere I can.

I do it a lot and haven't found a problem with it yet. I do prewash all of my fabrics first.

I'm doing that right now. Had charm packs ( mostly blues ) in Kaffe Fassett, but not enough for this apple core quilt ( will be throw size ). So I am adding about 8 or 9 batiks to this. I'm thinking it will work just fine

It is all fabric, can't think why it wouldn't work.

Edyta Sitar does this all the time. Take a look at her work both on her website and at Laundry Basket Quilts. She actually designs batiks and "regular" fabrics to go together.

That is the only way I use batiks.

Used a mix in most all of the quilts I have made. I have pictures in my albums on here. Didn't know it was an issue.

I mix them all the time. The quilt in my avatar is mixed. Here are a few others I've done that are mixed.
