There are several batik wholesalers, but you have to buy a whole bolt. We have about 150 batiks in our store, and they sale from $5.95 yd (printed Batiks) to $7.95 yd full batiks.

The printed batiks are just like any other fabric, the colors are printed on. They can be very pretty. In the full batiks, the colors are applied through a waxing process.

The way to tell them apart is to look at thre back of the fabric. If you can't tell which is the back, thats a full batik.

I'm bringing back more batiks from Bali (I'm in Bali right now - where the "good" ones come from). Lots of quiltingboard members have batik from me - send me a private message if you're interested.
