Default Need to quilt!!!

My hubby and I are moving into a different home out in the country and I have been busy packing old house up and trying to move things to new house. Still have to do final clean at old house, but goodness
it has been weeks since I have been able to get back to my applique. It will probably be another two weeks before I can even get to my quilting room and get it unpacked and ready to start back on my quilt.
I do hate moving. But at least in this house I will have a quilting room for nothing but my quilting stuff.

The positive side of this move is that you will have a dedicated space for your quilting....just keep thinking of all the fun you will have in that room as you finish packing, cleaning and unpacking....LOL

Sounds like "quilting heaven" having a whole room dedicated for quilting! Lucky you!

Congratulations on your move!!! Yay you get your own space you are lucky!!!!! I know what you mean about feeling like it has been forever and you just want to get back into it. Time will go by quickly and before you know it you will have your own slice of heaven all to yourself; enjoy!!!!!

Just imagine how good it will feel when you get settled and are quilting!! Worth it to have your own quilting room.

Moving is awful, just awful, but a different place to make new memories. You can have fun feathering your new nest, finding places to decorate with your quilts. The big prize will be your own sewing room. You can watch winter turn to spring while happily stitching away.

I hate moving but then when you get to the new place I think it's easier to organize things and especially now where you'll have your own room to quilt. Enjoy. Sue

maybe you would enjoy doing a few of these....i found them on the internet a year or so ago. For some reason they are a big rage in the netherlands...where all the quilters make them on Saturday! they are small, it takes me about 20 min to make one 3" block... and they are findable under
Klosjes Zaterdag which means Spools Saturday...
