OMG - had a quilting class yesterday evening. Spent most of the time making half square triangles and flying geese.

Went to bed at midnight and kept waking to dreams of 3 1/2" and 4" squares being turned over. I finally got up at 3:50 AM, then went back to bed at 5 and slept another hour.

I never thought it would affect me this way!
:)

LOL! I've done the same thing...numerous times :) It seems crazy but I guess it is the addiction of quilting and creating!

I do it all the time.
That and EVERYTHING looks like it would make a good quilt pattern.

Isn't that the truth! Tile floors, the design on the American Airlines seats, doodles, oh my.

That's happened to me. I think it's called information overload. Your mind just keeps processing what you've taken in. Add to that the excitement of taking a class doing something you love and it's a recipe for a sleepless night. But I bet you have fun at the class.

Yep, that is what happens to us quilters. When I was practicing FMQ I would go to bed and still be doing the practicing in my head. We do need our sleep so we can do a good job with our quilts....it will get better.

My daughter went flying with her husband recently and she said everything down below reminded her of quilts.
