Where do you buy your fusible quilt batting tape from? I am having a hard time finding it . and have only seen it online.

You can cut any fusible into strips to join your batting pieces. I have done that, have also sewn them together by hand. Now I find that the easiest way for me is to zigzag them together with the sewing machine.

I found it at my LQS. If you have a LQS nearby and they don't carry it, see if they will special order it for you.

I have a lot of light weight fusible interfacing from my garment making days. I just cut a strip of it 1/2" to 1" wide and but the pieces of batting together and iron the interfacing to both pieces.

this is the best way if you don't want to do the zig zag method!

We use the lightweight fusible interfacing instead of buying the super expensive roll of tape.....works just as good!

I found it for 60% off some years ago before it was sold as batting tape. It is labeled no sew 2" wide by 20 yards at an upholstery shop. I bought a box full of it thinking it would be a big help with strip piecing. I forgot about having it until I bought the New Batting Tape being sold. It's the same stuff just smaller width. I don't have to worry about paying a high price for a long time, probably never. LOL. To save money just use small lengths with spaces in between. That works just fine to hold batting together. But to me the cost to value is worth it even when not on sale, handy to have on hand all ready to use. It's less then most quilt magazines.
