Experience with Retro Clean? Brightening yellowed quilts?
I was blessed enough to acquire a lovely, vintage double wedding ring quilt this week. It is in great condition other than overall yellowing of the white background fabric and one brownish blotch on the back. Has anyone had any experience using Retro Clean or another method to brighten/whiten an old quilt? Thanks in advance for your advice and help!

I haven't yet tried Retro Clean but I don't deal with vintage quilts often.
I was given a quilt with embroidered blocks that had been sitting around collecting dust and dirt for years. It had brown and yellow stains/discoloration all over the white background.
Best we could tell, it was least 40 years old (this was 10 years ago).
The setting wasn't anything interesting so I took the quilt apart to reset the blocks in a new quilt.
I first soaked them in a plastic tub with BIZ (powder detergent available from the supermarket - very inexpensive).
Just left them in overnight and they came out looking SPECTACULAR.
I couldn't believe the difference.
