Default batting from JoAnn's???

did anyone buy the batting JoAnn"s had on sale in a big roll around Christmas time? I bought two rolls it is 60 wide by 20 yards and was like 49.00 I think, so it was like 2.50 a yard.. I finally opened and wow it is ever thin, it said on the package ..Value 60..lightweight Poly 7 lbs..I don't know if I should use it as is or double it, which will not have saved me any money on buying this batting

Dose anyone use this batting for there quilts? single

one of the employees at JoAnns told me not to buy it. I buy a big roll for 1/2 off just after Christmas and that lasts all year. I only use the warm & natural

Bummer. Sorry. I bought Warm and Natural too. It was recommended from a few people so I tried it, loved it and am sold.

You could probably return it for a refund....I would certainly try.

I think I remember that sale, what brand did it say it was? I stick with warm and natural but I have been tempted before with other rolls. I would see how doubling it would work on a small piece.

Due to lack or storage space, I only purchase packaged batting and only Warm and Natural. I am definitely a batting Snob.

I most always use Hobbs 80/20 and have never had poor results. When I want to do a really special project I use silk or wool-also Hobbs brand. I use packaged batting because of storage space. I am always very skeptical of "special sales". They most often are inferior products in some way.

Darn, I don't like that when you buy something and then when you finally open it find it is not up to par. I love Quilters Dream batting. When I first started out I used Warm and Natural and still use it for some projects but find the QD is so nice to use.
