I'm interested in finding a good quality, LIGHTWEIGHT cotton batting. Any recommendations? Thanks. :)

I use Warm and Natural or Warm and White for almost eveything.

That's what I've been using, and like it a lot. But I was looking for something lighter that wasn't poly. Would a blend be lighter? It's pretty warm under the cotton batting here in FL...sometimes you need a little something with the AC/fans on.

Try the lightest weight of Quilter's Dream. It's very light weight. You might also try a very light flannel.

I would recommend Quilter's Dream. For me, the drape of Warm'n'Natural is too stiff and isn't really what I would consider lightweight (although it's not heavyweight either).

I agree with Maria. Warm and Natural or Warm and White. It's nice and soft and lightweight. Also, I don't think the quilting has to be as close together so you have more options for quilting.

Do you know if that would be the Quilter's Dream Cotton REQUEST? There are so many different types, I'm not sure which is the lighterweight.

Have you ever used this on a quilt large enough that you had to piece it? Any tips to reduce the bulk if so?
