I have just used it on a commissioned quilt. It says it requires poly batting to be effective. I used a press cloth over it before pressing because I DID use poly batting. I have machine quilted over it without being able to tell the difference in thickness, texture, or movement. I'll be using it again for sure.

Actually mine says wool setting for most & silk setting for poly batts. I used warm & natural & followed exactly what the instruction state on the package & it worked like a charm.
