    Batting

Thoughts on using Pellon for batting. How does it compare with the name brands (warm and natural/quilters dream/etc.?

Which Pellon batting product are you looking at, or is this a general question?

Are you asking about the Pellon Legacy brand battings??? There is a distributor who came to out longarm group so I'm pretty familiar. I've used the cotton, recycled cotton, recycled pop bottle (green), and wool batts. I liked them all except the green. It was for a quilt for a friend who is a rabid recycler. I used men's shirts from the thrift store, a used sheet for the back and the green batting. It's sort of like thick felt. Pellon sells their batting by the yard, bolt and a 9 yard cut they call a 'board'.

I've only used the Pellon fusible for wall quilts. It doesn't seem like it would be "drapey" like an 80/20 batting or Warm&Natural.
