Default Batting for table covering

A table cover needs a thinner batting. What do you use? Thank you!

I have used flannelette, pre washed, in placemats.

I just saw that there was a thread on this a couple of days ago so read those suggestions. But if you can recommend a thin batting so the quilting can stand out a bit, that would be helpful.

Thank you Shadoh. I think that may fit the bill to give some stability without bulk.
