    Bee Name

My bee is looking to reinvent itself. We have lost members and need to rejuvenate and generate some interest. We would like to start with a new name. Do you have any good names for a bee?

What kind of projects do you normally do? Block swaps, table runners? Etc. Is it in person or online?

I would take into consideration your area/location of your meeting place such as near a creek or river, meadow, woods. You want to rejuvenate and generate. How about something like Holland's Rejuvenating Gems for example. Have everyone put a name or two on a piece of paper with their name on the back. Which ever name is chosen the rest take that person out to dinner or have a potluck. Or the person with the deciding name hosts lunch. My cousin belongs to a guild and a bee. The name of the guild is Peace River Quilters I believe. But something like that. Guild or bee good luck with your name.

I like the name "Loose Threads". I am always going to guild and other meetings with "loose threads" stuck to my clothes.

Since you are in "Holland", how about something like Dutch Treat or with Tulip in the name. I belong to a bee called Hanging By A Thread, and I used to be in one called Sew 'N" So. What is your favorite part of quilting - piecing, quilting, do you do swaps, sew when you meet or go out for lunch or dinner? Snack "N" Sew, Sew in Peace. Take a word and start brainstorming. Good luck.

    Lake Macatawa Quilting Bee

    Tulip Garden Quilters

    The Buzzing Tulips

What was the old name? And is there a local guild whose name is therefore 'taken'?

Here's a super corny one to combine Holland tulips, chatting, and sewing. Ready for this winner? The Dutch Spoolips.
