I like the red with no additional white border!

Thanks all!

Hubby says to finish it off with the additional white border. I think that's what I am going to do since I already have started the rest of the squares. Then I will stop and re-embroider it, making sure the little girl cat stays off it while machine is going.
I did get my timeline on finishing this thing. I have 3 weeks, I should have it done by then.

Very pretty quilt! I would have gone mad doing white log cabin blocks! I bow to you! I'm glad you figured out how to finish it. It's going to be gorgeous! :D

It's actually not white. It's white with red squiggle lines thru it.
And yes....I'm starting to go mad making the blocks

You could do red and white strips going horizontal.

The white border is nice, but I think a red binding would really set it off better. LOL

I've decided on last row (border) of log cabin, then YES, I am binding it in red.
I have some fabric that has cupid and his arrow for the backing.
Should come out nice.
Right now, the a/c isn't working in the room that I sew in and it's REALLY hot in there, even if I open the windows. Plus, if I open the window, EVERYTHING flies around. UGH!
So, I'm taking a break from it at the moment until I can get the machine set up in another room.
