Yeah, I was thrilled to find it - I did a very small (16.5" x 16.5"), very simple wholecloth last year that still needs to be made into a throw pillow - and I thoroughly enjoyed doing it. I wanted to do a big one, but got tired every time I thought about how long it would take me.
I can only imagine how this one ended up at the thrift store; the person that bought it (from a long out-of-business LQS - the sticker was still on it) probably dug it out from underneath a pile of UFO's and said to herself,"WTH was I thinking?!" and tossed it in the donation box.
Sure hope I don't do that...
